Australian visa. Proof of status in Australia. If this visa is not a physical visa label in the current passport, please download the Australia visa from the VEVO application, or follow this link.

Itinerary. The applicant should provide a copy of the flight confirmation showing exact entry and exit dates and cities for Australia and Brazil.

Conference or Seminar. If attending a conference or seminar, a letter of invitation from the organization in Brazil which is hosting the event.

Bank statements. Proof of sufficient funds to support themselves in Brazil (a minimum of AUD $100 per day of stay applies). Evidence can be a current bank statement and/or credit card statement. Alternatively, if staying with a friend or relative, a letter of invitation, with as many details as possible about the place of stay and identity of individuals will also be accepted, provided the signature has been witnessed by a Brazilian Notary Office (Cartório).
If participating in conferences, seminars or attending artistic or sporting events, an invitation or confirmation from the organizers in Brazil is required.
Additional required documents for minors
Additional required documents for minors (under 18):
• Birth certificate. A copy of the child's birth certificate, notarized by a Notary Public or certified by a Justice of the Peace.• Letter of consent.This "Letter of Consent" must be completed and signed by both parents/legal guardians and notarized by a Notary Public (not a Justice of the Peace).The original Letter of Consent must be submitted with the visa application.• A copy of the parents' photo ID (passport bio-page) or drivers licence notarized by a Notary Public or certified by a Justice of the Peace.
Certain nationals must enter Brazil for the first time within 90 days of the visa issuance date. The exit may occur after the visa validity has expired.
The duration of stay permitted is generally 90 days counted from the day of first entry in Brazil. Multiple entries can be made within this 90 day period but exit must occur by the 90th day.
Extensions for a further 90 days may be requested by the Brazilian Federal Police at least 30 days before the visa expires and authorised at their discretion. Visitors who obtain an extension can remain in Brazil up to a maximum of 180 days in any twelve (12) month period counted from the day of first entry in Brazil.
